István Nyári lived in New York between 1986 and 1990 and Brussels from 2005 to 2007. Since 2007, he has been working in Budapest and London. His work has been presented at numerous solo and group exhibitions in Hungary, Belgium, the Czech Republic, the United States, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, and he has many works in several national and international collections. His paintings have been widely used in art magazines and studies about art, and they appear in publications both in Europe and in the United States.
