(1957, UK) is a former international tax specialist who took early retirement from tax to pursue his passion for Russian. He has written music, songs, and stories of his own, and translates Russian literature. His recently published translations include short stories by Elena Dolgopyat, and poetry by Lyudmila Knyazeva, Dmitry Vodennikov, and Tatiana Voltskaya. His translation of Pavel Basinsky’s documentary-thriller-biography ‘Liza’s Waterfall’ will be published in late 2022.
