Tony Notarberardino (1969, Australia) is a photographer/filmmaker. His early influences came from the Italian neorealist cinema of Rossellini, DeSica, Pasolini, Fellini, and Antonioni. He has created iconic portraits of Cate Blanchett, Grace Jones, Naomi Watts, Willem Dafoe, Heath Ledger, Dee Dee Ramone, and many others. His book Chelsea Hotel Portraits is a photographic series documenting the extraordinary individuals who came to the legendary hotel, where Notarberardino has been living since the 90’s.
