Writer, editor, and journalist Ágnes Gurubi (1977, Hungary) completed her studies in Hungarian at the Faculty of Teacher Training at ELTE in 1999, and in 2005, she graduated from the University of Theatre and Film Arts, Faculty of Drama Pedagogy. Her first novel, Szív utca (“Szív Street”), was published in August 2020. The novel is a generational story of women’s fates about mothers and daughters from Budapest to America and Argentina from the Second World War to the present day.
