Hungarian poet, author, and essayist Ákos Győrffy (1976, Hungary) has been publishing poetry since 1996 in various Hungarian literary journals, including Holmi, Alföld, Mozgó Világ, Élet és Irodalom, and Litera. He has won prestigious awards, such as the Móricz Zsigmond grant, the Zelk Zoltán award, and the József Attila prize. In addition to poetry, he frequently publishes essays. He is also a founding member of the Hungarian ambient music project Horhos.
