Árpád Kun (1956, Hungary) is a Hungarian writer, poet, and translator. His novels include Boldog észak (2013), Megint hazavárunk (2016), and most recently, Takarító férfi (2022), all published by Magvető Press. Having lived in Norway with his family since 2006, Kun’s novels explore the themes of cultural difference, expatriate experience, and the changing roles of men in 21st century Europe. His novel, Boldog Észak received Hungary’s prestigious Aegon Award in 2016.
