Balázs
Szálinger

Balázs Szálinger (1978, Hungary) was born in Keszthely on the shores of Balaton Lake. Poetry stands at the heart of all his works. Early in his career, besides writing poems, he turned to the long-established genre of Hungarian literature, the verse epic. Later, as a playwright, he retained the poetic form: his stage works, dramas, and fairy tale adaptations are all written in verse. He is the author of several poetry volumes, most recently: Koncentráció (Concentration, 2022).
