She was born in 1966 in Budapest. She studied art history, philosophy and modern European history at ELTE, Budapest, and NYU, NYC. She had worked as a journalist and political columnist in Hungary before starting teaching philosophy at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Budapest. In her literary pieces she explores dark themes of psychological and sexual violence, ambivalent family relationships and cultural conflicts around death, aging and ethnic difference.
