Iryna Shuvalova is a Ukrainian poet and translator. She is the author of five collections of poetry, including stoneorchardwood (2020) which was named the Litaktsent poetry book of the year and was honored with a special prize by Lviv UNESCO City of Literature. Iryna Shuvalova is a member of the PEN Ukraine. She holds a PhD from Cambridge University, where she was a Gates Scholar. She was born in Kyiv, and currently lives and works in Nanjing, China.
