Márton

(1959, Hungary) published his debut, a volume of short stories, in 1984, and about 25 volumes have been published since. His first play was shown in 1987, and since then his plays and drama translations have been regularly performed across Hungary. As a translator, he mainly works on classics of German literature. His recent works include A kárpótlás (novel, 2022), Bátor Csikó (drama, 2021), A Nibelung-ének (literary translation & study, 2020), and Két obeliszk (novel, 2018).
