Lili Hanna
Seres

Seres (1993, Hungary) is a Hungarian poet, writer, and editor. Her debut poetry collection Várunk (‘Our Castle’) caused a stir in 2019. Many of her poems address questions of domestic violence, abortion, infertility, and pregnancy, while employing “an excellent sense of rhythm, irony, and a ruthlessly sharp eye” (Krisztina Tóth). Seres is currently writing her PhD on the depiction of poverty in contemporary Hungarian literature at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest.
