Sýkora

(1971, Czech Republic) is a writer and university teacher. He made his debut in 2012 with The Case for the Exorcist, launching a successful series of detective novels: Blue Shadows (2013), It's Not Over yet (2016), Five Dead Dogs (2018) and Worst Fears (2020). Sýkora's books are a mix of a modern police procedural and a socially critical novel with imaginative plots and thoughtful character psychology. The first four novels were adapted for a TV series (2015-2019).
