Walter Burgess and Marietta Morry are Canadian translators of contemporary Hungarian literature into English. They have translated seven short stories by Gábor T. Szántó, four of which have been published in addition to the one appearing in this magazine. They also completed the English version of a novel Europa Symphony by the same author. Other translations include a book of short stories by Péter Moesko, three of these stories have now appeared in Canadian literary journals. Their current project is a novel by Zsófia Czakó.
