Lucie Mikolajková (1975, Czech Republic) is a freelance translator, editor, and proofreader since 1999. She is unusual in being completely bilingual, equally at home translating from Czech into English as in the other direction. She has translated over thirty works of English, American, and Canadian literature, including such authors as Angela Carter and Jonathan Franzen. She also translates Czech fiction, poetry, and screenplays into English.
