Paul Sohar (1936) drifted as a student refugee from Hungary to the U.S., where he got a BA degree in philosophy and a day job in chemistry while he continued writing and publishing in every genre, publishing nineteen volumes of translations from Hungarian, the latest being Song Offerings by Katalin Mezey (Ragged Sky). He has published his own poetry, Homing Poems (Iniquity Press), The Wayward Orchard (Wordrunner Press Prize winner, 2011), In Sun’s Shadow (Ragged Sky Press) and prose, True Tales of a Fictitious Spy (Synergebooks).
