Ladik

Katalin Ladik (1942, Yugoslavia), born in Novi Sad, is a Hungarian poet, actress, visual artist, and performance artist. A leading female artist and representative of experimental art in former Yugoslavia and Hungary, she has published several poetry volumes in Hungarian, most recently, A víz emlékezete (The Memory of Water, Pesti Kalligram, 2016). Her novel Élhetek az arcodon? (Can I Live on Your Face?, Nyitott Könyvműhely, 2007) is considered a major work of Hungarian avant-garde literature.
