Ferenčuhová

Mária Ferenčuhová was born in Bratislava. She graduated in film screenwriting and dramaturgy from the Film and TV Faculty of the School of Dramatic Arts in Bratislava. She has published few collections of poetry: Skryté titulky (Hidden Subtitles, 2003), Princíp neistoty (Principle of Uncertainty, 2008), Ohrozený druh (Threatened Species, 2012) and Imunita (Immunity, 2016). Her poetry is characterised by a cinematic approach in which Ferenčuchová, a keen observer, purposefully juxtaposes images, or shots.
