Petr Borkovec (1970, Czech Republic) is a poet, novelist, translator, and author of children’s books. Dramaturg of the Prague café Fra and Fra publishing house. He writes regular columns and short prose for the magazines Full Moon, A2, the radio station Vltava. His most recent works are the poetry volume Herbář k čemusi horšímu (Herbarium for the Worse, 2018), the short stories Sebrat klacek (Picking up a Stick, 2020), and the children’s poetry volume Modrá agáve (Blue Agave, 2021).
