Petra
Szőcs

(1981, Romania) is a poet and film director, living in Budapest. She studied screenwriting at the University of Theater and Film Arts, Budapest. Her films were shown at the Cannes, Sarajevo, and Seville Film Festivals, among others. She has been publishing poems since 2008. Recent publications include her German-Hungarian poetry volume, Das dänische Puder (Akademie Schloss Solitude, 2017), and her new Hungarian poetry volume A gonosz falu legszebb lakói (Magvető Publishing, 2022).
