Mascha
Dabić

Mascha Dabić (1981, Yugoslavia) has been living in Austria since 1992. She studied Translation and Interpreting Studies (English and Russian) and Political Science. She teaches translation and interpreting (Russian) at the University of Vienna where she also did her PhD on the topic of interpreting in psychotherapy. Her debut novel „Reibungsverluste“ was published in 2017 with edition atelier. She translates literature from the Balkans region (among others, Barbi Marković, Dragan Velikić, Damir Ovčina, Zlatko Paković etc.).
